Why we exist

Halal food you can actually trust

An independent UK directory built on one idea: a halal listing is only useful if it's accurate.

Our promise

Too many halal directories list restaurants that have closed, changed hands, or were never properly halal to begin with. For Muslim diners, a wrong listing isn't a minor inconvenience — it breaks trust.

So we do things differently: every listing on Halal Food Network is checked by a person, stamped with the date it was last verified, and carries a plain-English halal status — what's certified, by whom, and whether alcohol is served. If we can't verify it, we say so.

How we verify

1. Certification check. We ask for the current HMC, HFA or equivalent certificate — or record honestly that a venue is self-declared.

2. Alcohol & policy check. We confirm whether alcohol is served and whether there's a prayer space, so you can filter for exactly what you need.

3. Freshness check. Every listing shows its last-verified date, and our community can flag anything out of date with one tap.

4. Hygiene data. We display the official Food Standards Agency hygiene rating alongside every listing.

Spot something wrong?

Use the "Report inaccuracy" button on any listing and we'll re-verify it. Accuracy is the whole product.
